Cloughey Beach Engagement – S + K

6 am starts and two hour drives are always worth it when you get light like we did for Sarah and Kurtis’ Cloughey Beach engagement session. People often wonder why I ask them if they’re cool with getting up at the crack of dawn..but as soon as the sun starts to break it all becomes clear. Sarah and Kurtis didn’t even bat an eyelid when I asked them to meet me at 8 in the morning, and when that orange light started to shine through I think we were all in agreement that it was well worth it. This was my first time at Cloughey Beach too, and what better way to get to know it than an engagement session.

One of the first things that Sarah asked me when we met was ‘are you a Christian?’, and I immediately knew we were off to a good start! It’s not often I get a shoot where I come away feeling fulfilled job wise and like I’ve had the most amazing spiritual, God filled experience. These two are shining lights for the Holy Spirit, and it was such a blessing to get to be so open and honest with people that I’d only just met. I never take for granted how I’m being used by God in this job. Even if you’re not a Christian and we go out on a shoot, rest assured I’ll come away feeling totally blessed by it. And I hope that you do too!

I cannot wait for Sarah and Kurtis to get married in December. What a day it will be!
